I am a freelance web developer in Pearland, TX (a suburb of Houston).  I was born in Nashville, TN and raised and Houston, TX.  I went to Texas A&M, graduating in 2000 with a degree in MIS. 

Then I worked full tme for Anadarko Petroleum in the graphics department putting together Flash and ColdFusion apps for almost 3 years.  Next, I left Anadarko to be the lead instructor at Connect Learning, an Adobe Authorized Training Center in Houston, where I taught Flash, Dreamweaver, ColdFusion, SQL and HTML/CSS courses. 

After 2 years of teaching, I took a leap and started freelancing full time under the name Lansun + Scott.  Moving to full time freelancing has turned out to be one of the best decisions that I have ever made.  I still get nervous that it could get pulled out from under me at any point, but I try to squash that feeling whenever it sneaks up on me and just keep plugging along.

At home is my wife, Michele, dog, Avery and cat, Willy.  Right now we’re expecting a little one in mid-February of ‘08 and you can find out all you want to know about that over at BabyFricke.

Video games, movies, guitar, diy, current events, programming, playing with pets, and hanging out are some of the ways that I’ll typically spend a day if I have some time to kick back.
